Apart from the Quiz night stated in the article on the 12 July, we are planning a 5 a-side indoor football tournament and London to Brighton Cycle ride to assist with raising funds for the expensive physiotherapy that follows the Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) operation.

Just to recount, Caitlin has an appointment at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) this month with a view to having Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) performed this summer.

Thank you so much to those quick off the mark to pledge some support for Caitlin’s mission to keep on her feet. 🙂

YESSSSSS! An Appt date.

We just got word that Cailtlin has an appointment to meet the Great Ormond St Hospital clinicians alongside Dr Aquilina. We hope to get a firm date for the SDR operation itself soon after that.

We started this journey with Dr Aquilina when he was based in Bristol almost two tears ago. It’s fitting, almost synchronistic, that we are back with him at this vital stage.

We are inwardly emotional about the prospects that lay ahead this summer and beyond.
